Wasdale Mountain Rescue Team - Rescue Screes

A walker became cragfast while coming off the Screes in Wasdale - the team were called out in the daylight but he was not located until it was dark. The ascent to his location was only accessible through local knowledge. The descent in the dark would be "extremely challenging" for anyone who dislikes steep, loose and exposed slopes high above the deepest lake in England.
