This is a short unedited video of my K-9 interacting in public at a christmas party. The facility where we hold our weekly robot builder meetings is in an areo space museum . We were asked to put on a demonstration of our robots.

I didn't get much footage of K-9 with the kids because i was busy preventing him from accidently getting hurt . But it worked out very well and ppl were really happy .

the kids just loved him, the Heathkit Hero and the Mars Rover

  • dude,thats cool

if i can but it how much is it

and does is have a remote controll?

oh and if you could you should somehow make it solar powered

  • thanx man . i'm not sure how much i spent on the parts in total . maybe $100 or so .

Autonomous means it has no remote control . check out the definition of Autonomous .. it's pretty wicked when u can apply that definition to a robot .. which most humans think are so scripted :)

solar cells don't supply nearly enough power for most mechanical hardware .

  • so pity... the robot pet has no legs... can consider to put legs for him...

  • do a google search for k-9 . i made a minature k-9 from doctor who replica .
