News 5 Weather Plus: Song 7

I posted this video because I have been a long-time viewer of News 5 Weather Plus and have subconsciously come to know and love all of the channel's seven songs. I think they're some of the best that have been aired on a (former) NBC Weather Plus channel.

WLWT 5 in Cincinnati is one of very few NBC-affiliated stations across the United States that continues to broadcast its own version of NBC Weather Plus although the service was officially shut-down on December 31, 2008. They call their localized version "News 5 Weather Plus".

As I live in Wayne county, IN, I am not officially in their coverage area (I'm just a few miles north of the furthest county that is, Fayette), but I am able to receive them all of the time via an OTA antenna. WLWT 5 is also the strongest channel that I receive. For some reason, it always beats out Dayton and Indianapolis, whose transmitters are about 15 miles closer.

Although I am not officially covered by the station, WLWT 5 is my favorite channel.

@harpia1p I think you're referring to a different channel 5-2. The one featured in this video is Cincinnati, Ohio's WLWT-DT 5-2. I'm not sure what happen with any channel 5-2 in the Chicago coverage area.

Ok weatherman, someone has pulled this nice channel off air on regular tv and now i just get junk tv in chanel 5-2 and its hard now to go to work at ease outdoors, where did it go??? anyone. Chicago -Indiana

@ChristineThePikachu Lucky. I've always wished to be covered by channels from Louisville, Kentucky. WAVE-TV 3 in particular. That's my favorite TV station from the area. I live in Wayne county (in east-central Indiana). Here, I'm covered by Indianapolis, IN and Dayton, OH (and sometimes Cincinnati, OH).
