Another one by the Tommy Flanagan Trio, live in Cologne. Flanagan (piano) George Mraz (bass) and Bobby Durham (drums) this time on "Glad to be unhappy". Tommy's piano solo is sublime.

  • Thanks, difficult to keep within the 100Mb and 10 minute mark and still keep the video and sound acceptable. I'll try and put some more up soon (if I can can keep within the limits)

  • I would appreciate if someone could tell me if this live performance have been launched in the form of vinyl record or CD.

  • lovely & so clear.

  • OMG @ 3:15

  • Tommy Flanagan's work on Wes Montgomery's "The Incredible Jazz Guitar of Wes Montgomery" is probably the most delicious bit of jazz piano that I've ever heard!

  • I'm looking and listening in awe as to why Tommy Fkanagan makes a song sound so good. At the same time running back and forth from the piano trying to transcribe some of his sounds. Mraz also a fine bassist. Thanks for the posting.

  • Oh dear, the nutters are out again.

  • Than you so much, Donny. You're right, he's sublime here as always. Now I hope to find "Good Morning Heartache".
