Breaking Dawn Part 1's Box Office Results

Hi everyone! Thanks for checking out the show. Dana Ward here in Hollywood and we're giving a round of applause to all of your Twilight fans out there because you made it out in record numbers for opening weekend of the latest film in the franchise. According to reports, Breaking Dawn Part 1 earned 139.5M dollars. While it definitely set records, making it the fifth-best opening weekend ever -- behind Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2, The Dark Night and Spider-Man 3, it's still another Saga film that hold the number-1 spot. That's New Moon which debuted at 142.8M dollars the same weekend in November 2009. That being said, I don't think anyone is disappointed, especially since worldwide, BD Part 1 has made 283.5M dollars worldwide, and the movie's reported budget was definitely surpassed -- that figure is 110M bucks. We also hear that as far as audience breakdown goes for these first few days in the movie theatre, 80-percent of ticketholders were female and 60-percent were over the age of 21. So once again, Breaking Dawn Part 1 earned 139.5M dollars at the box office here in the States opening weekend. Breaking dawn part 1 is really great! I loved it. It was so perfect better than eclipse. the movie was really balanced this time around; the action, romance, drama and a lot of funny and exciting parts. I liked how taylor acted in here, he perfectly showed the true jake on the book rather than the other movies. He really portrayed the cool, funny and soft-hearted jake here. I really laughed at the part where jacob got disgusted when bella was drinking blood. (:

I loved how they played chess! It fit the movie so well :) But I have to say my favorite part was the wedding speeches. "I'm a cop.... and I have a gun..." Hahahahaha love it

I'm really really really really disappointed that none of the blonde jokes made it into the movie....or the scene with the doggie bowl.....the book is def my favorite and i thought the movie would be a little more funnier since the book was......just disappointed!
