Picked as some of our favorite beers in 2008, Allagash Brewing Company's "White" is a popular choice among their legions of fans. This cloudy but light tasting Belgian wheat style beer is easy to drink and very smooth - it also goes great with a wide variety of foods. Distributed by Tubemogul.

  • Trust me, its just YOU. You're actually missing the point of this whole thing, John is the guy who brews beer and gives insight to through that, Davis Little is a distributor and very connected to the industry. My job is to keep things moving, ask questions to provoke a response from John, and bring up topics the "average" craft beer drinker might not know. There are plenty of beer vlogs out there that might meet your intellectual standards, but in the mean time, thanks for the comment..really.

  • nice review.. still havent tried Allagash White but have been curious. im a big fan of the style and have tried Hoegaarden, Blue Moon, New Belgium Mothership Wit and theyv all been great, but iv heard Allagash is one of the best. great review, def going to pick up a bottle soon!

  • IS it just me or do those two stooges say nothing significant? I like John Pinkerton, but David Little, and Paul Leone especially, seem very empty-headed; it's good we have a beer critic who knows a little Latin and and can define a specific yeast strain without getting a headache; most times friends survey and critique beer and spirits and wine, but they only know what they like--not necessarily how it's made, where it's from, what nationality it derives from, it's immediate ABV--and so on.
