Poltergeist Activity Caught On Video Camera.

I've been leaving cameras around the house at random since I first managed to capture some poltergeist activity on tape. I don't know if the flushing toilet suggests an intelligent entity or ghost or whatever. - mellowb1rd

Whenever you go to the toilet, turn on the toilet main valve to fill up the flush cistern. Turn off when it is filled. Flush it all when you are done with your business. That would save you money on utility bills. Setup the video camera. Since there is no water in the cistern, we will see how the ghost react to it when it flushes the toilet. Will it flush 2 or 3 times to see if there is water? Will it get mad if there is no water? That will be good to find out if it is intelligent.

@bigfatfoot I pay the same flat rate whether I use no water, or leave all my taps on all day, so it wouldn't save me any money. I can't tell guests in my house that, after they go to the toilet, they have to take the lid of the cistern and hunt around for a valve, that I'm pretty sure my toilet doesn't have, anyway. If it's anything like the one in my attic, the only way to turn it off, is to tie the ballcock up so it can't fall.

I'm afraid that , just because a few objects moving around by themselves scares the shit out of you, that doesn't mean the rest of us are such cowards. A human is capable of MUCH more damage and I don't fear those, so why fear something that has NEVER in recorded history been reliably documented to have seriously harmed someone.

@CZRXCZR Men use the seat in the up position to take a leak and down to take a crap. Women use it in the down position for both. Men and women both take a crap once a day, on average, but men take a leak a few more times. So, given an even number of males and females, the seat is used in the up position more and so, should be left that way. Also, In my house, there are no women, except visitors. Visitors get no say in the position of MY seat!!!
