I think what you meant to say was that Rjd2 makes music that sounds like DJ Shadow. Shadow was releasing material nearly 8 years before Rjd2 was out with the Mhz crew and his solo work.

His music has a wierd effect on me, it makes me think about some wierd ass stuff, but its awesome. This kinda shit is one of a kind, imo. Its awesome

what do you mean "entirely using samples"?

It means he didn't actually create any of the music. He hears an old record and will take the drum beat, lyrics from a song in the 20's and take that, pianos from another song... And then he combines it all together. Absolutely amazing way of creating music, and insanely hard... That's what makes this song even better.
