What I like about Angry Joe is that he's not some fancy pants know it all, he's a normal gamer like us. He actually points out REAL problems, unlike IGN getting paid by Activision to give it a good review. He's a great reviewer.

to everyone ... skyrim is extremely boring at the beginning (about the first 1-2 hours) but after that it becomes one of the best games you've ever played... nuff said

Don't buy this for the ps3, the framerate is just atrocious, if your file gets over 10mb then you will feel like you are playing a slideshow, the patch 1.1 only made things worse, it toned down the graphics by a fuck ton while not really fixing the framerate issue. I guess Bethesda hates Sony for some reason not the first time they fucked up a ps3 game *cough* Fallout 3 *cough*.

@TheMegaOne1000 When Dragons attack town, it happens randomly at any time, all the guards in town and some civilians will help you fight it. I think they left this out of the main quest line to add the element of surprise to the Dragon encounters. But the main story was underwhemling, the Dark Brotherhood and Thieves Guild storylines were the best storylines in the game imo.

What makes a 10/10 game is ultimately subjective. Is it marketed as game where you have Shakespearean storytelling? Not really. Anyone that knows what Elder Scrolls is and always has been, it's your typical chosen one tale. In the 3rd game you were the Nerevarine, in the 4th you were kind of Prophesied by the emperor and here you're dragonborn. If you can accept that and have enough patience to level your character then it's fairly reasonable to think of it as a 10/10 game.

Ala Wake/Dead Space/Batman AC... they all left a deep impression to me. Real 10/10 content. So what If it took me like 15-20 hours to complete each one. I felt more entertained by those games than that dull Skyrim, even Fallout 3 and NV were better.

@gears6515 It's a big game, i can't just play it for 10-20 hours and call it a day. I played it as it's supposed to be played BUT... that doesn't mean it's a 10/10 game. There's so much wrong with it. Overall the game felt uncomplete and seriously lacking in every category. The 100+ playtime alone doesn't mean it's a great game.

I'd compare this game to a big and shallow lake. 6/10

This game is not for people who want great story-telling, but just random fun.
