$5 A YEAR in charging and maintenance cost. Just mowing 1-2 acres in a convention riding mower will likely cost more than that in gasoline alone! No belts, no hydraulics, no oil, no sparks plugs, no fuel filter, etc. I had a John Deer for 15 years now and I've replace it transmission twice, rebuilt it carburetor, and done more belt changes then I can remember. In total I'm very sure I've spent more time and money on it then it original cost. So yes, I get it.

how fast does it go?

The mower is 100% electric powered. It runs at full power for approximately 80 minutes. With a 42" cutting width at 6 mph forward speed this will mow around 1.4 acres in 80 minutes.
After running for 80 minutes the mower will need to be recharged. The recharge time to attain full charge takes 16 hours.
The full charge lasts 80 minutes. The Zeon will last for years of residential use.
