May 14, 2010 liftoff of STS-132 - Penultimate launch of space shuttle Atlantis as viewed from the Kennedy Space Center press area, just three miles from the launch pad. It was a moment for which I had waited over seven years. Video runs from T-1:46 through T+9:00.
At the time, we believed this would be the final flight of Atlantis, so it was definitely an emotional moment for everyone in attendance. Thankfully, she went on to fly on additional mission in 2011 - STS-135.
It marked several "lasts" for Atlantis, including -
1. Final launch into a clear blue sky
2. Final mission to carry six crewmembers
3. Final ISS assembly flight
