Instrumental version of my original piece "Halfway" Performed on the Axis-49 remapped to play in Wicki/Hayden (thummer) mode.Just a quick upload to show I'm still playing.But mostly for you tiger ;-)

Did you physically replace the locations of the colored keys? Or do they make a thummer layout 49? Why do you prefer the thummer layout? (I just got my axis 49 today)

@frogb0tter Congrats on your AXiS! I'll message you with some details but here are the basics:
A. I remapped the keytops myself.
B. The MIDI remapping software is freely available.
C. I prefer the Thummer layout (aka "wick-hayden") for several reasons:
1. Ergonomics. I find melody *and* harmony to be both physically easier to play and also conceptually easier to think about.
2. Theory. The W/H layout has some deep links into music theory that lead to some cool applications no other layout has.
