The BAU is called by local authorities in Ashburn, Virginia, to profile a predator who may have been abducting children for at least eight years.

A child-abduction case has similarities to an unsolved eight-year-old abduction case, leading the agents to believe that they may be able to solve both crimes.

i got the best messeage ive ever got out of any criminal minds episode from this one matthew should direct the show more this was a great epsidoe not that there not all great the line at the end is an amazing line and really speaks what the show is really meaning

Never leave a parent's side, or go outside on your own. There are SICK twisted people out there, who will hurt you, and or kill you. Never EVER go anywhere unsupervised under 20 years old. It touched me when I watched that. I was told that Abigail was abducted and treated in such a horrible manner, that about three weeks after she was rescued from the abductor's prison, she died of so many bruises, and cuts, and concusions. Mostly because the abductor gave her too many needles with strong drugs in it. It was a drug overdose. With a steroid called Morphine which is used to stop sharp pains in an adult's body. It's not meant for kids to take, and you can't take more than one dose

She looks almost exactly like Amy, except she was twelve, and was taller, and had longer hair. Yeah, this might be my new favorite episode. It was so heartbreakingly beautiful, and MGG did a great job directing. The look on Charlie's face there, when he's talking to Steven's parents? Kills me freaking dead every time.

I watched this a few days ago, late at night in my bed and I cry my eyes out at the end! It was so intense and sad and then happy. I felt so sorry for Stephen's parents. ''He was alive yesterday'' will haunt me for a very long time!

And they are at the crematoria, I was almost screaming: ''Charlie, fight the woman! She's an old woman, you're a 16-year-old boy. You can perfectly beat her and save the girl'' and then he shot her and it was perfect! She well deserved it!
