Part Two: The Irrational Health Service looks at how health has become a battleground between reason and superstition. A third of us now spend a total of over £1.6 billion a year on superstitious alternative remedies, but 80 percent of them have never been subjected to properly conducted trials.

  • @Farfromhere001 That's why herbs which work are called medicine. Like Aspirin for example. But there are also lots of herbs without effect which are being sold as alternative medicine! Kava has been verified to have some positive effects for anxiety and such.

  • This is unreal.

  • Homeopathics is such bullshit, but herbal medicine is NOT. Taking things like Kava-Kava for anxiety and such is great and proven by science!
