Born of Osiris - Behold/XIV Solo

My attempt at the sweeping solo in the new Born of Osiris song Behold, it also appears in XIV, really tricky so apologies for the mistakes.
Learnt it by ear so no tabs sorry. Will upload me playing a slower version soon enough.

Guitar is a Schecter Omen 7 Extreme with Dimarzio Crunch Lab 7(bridge) and Liquifire pickups (neck). Pod XT live used for tone, recorded through analogue output (not USB), sound monitored with M-Audio BX5a speakers. Been playing for near 5 years. Tuning is GDGCFAD. 9-54 gauge strings used.

@IronreaverVII I think for the original songs that were in drop C they use GCGCFAD tuning to avoid switching guitars, then they just tune the C up to a D for the 7 string songs on the new album.

@deathcore1239 i dont tune low. drop c is lowest i'd go with that guitar.

@givemeajackson I wouldnt go for the X2N. I have one and love it to death but it doesn't handle low tunings very well. Actually, I should say that the 6 string X2N doesnt. I've never tried the 7 string version. Could be better. Might be worth a try but i'd be cautious. Maybe get a second bridge pickup as a backup plan.
