It's a shame because this interview tells us nothing new about the game. I'm mostly interested in how it connects to the original game.

And console wars? Really? Anyone complaining that this is a wii-exclusive needs to relax and remember; You have ALLLLLL the other Final Fantasy games. How many of them are wii-exlusive, and how many of them never made it to Nintendo to begin with?

I don't think I'll be seeing Final Fantasy VII on a Nintendo platform any time soon, do you? That's right.

I really hate how franchises get split up over so many consoles... I have Ps3 and PSP, a GCN, an X-Box, even a SNES...but I need a DS, a Wii, and a japanese friggin cell phone to have all of the FF titles...as well as imported JP systems...

Yeah, that's what thought Crystal Bearers was when I seen it in 2006. I'm looking forward to it but I hope they bring back the original gameplay.

it was orginally designed for gamecube, then it was said during E3 06 it was going to be a wii exclusive, then it was rumored to be canceled, now its set release is for winter 2009/2010, ofcourse, it doesnt look current gen... So dont bash the game on its looks, check it out fanboy.

I love Final Fantasy, but I think they need a new hero design, they are making too much Tiduses and not too many Cecils, give us a tough knight not a metrosexual idiot who looks more girly than the leading female character.
