On The fifth day of creation God made the "great sea monsters" (Gen.1:21) On the sixth day, He made "Beasts and Cattle." (Gen.1:24)

You will not find the word dinosaur anywhere in the bible because the word " dinosaur" wasn't invented until 1841 by Englishman, Sir Richard Owen.

But you will find them by name, Behemoth, Leviathan, they are clearly described in detail.

  • Thank you for this. It is a great resource.

  • GOD BLESS,VERY NICE PROGRAMS

  • @sonofgrace1 Yeah, no problem. You did make good points though. Most people would say "Hey STFU faggot" because they aren't educated enough to know of something we sophisticated people call debate. I even like to debate when I know I'm wrong because it makes people think. Haha.

  • some background sounds (ambient) is disturbing) but this is an awesome reading.

  • @th3m1k3y I am not familiar with the NIV. I posted from the NLT but I have no reason not to trust you. I will look more into this, thank you.

  • @sonofgrace1 In my NIV there is a superscript 'a' next to the word behemoth. Looking at the bottom of the page it says that it may be referring to a hippopotamus or elephant. It doesnt say anything about strength of the tail, but that it sways like a cedar. As for the lotus tree part, it says 'the lotuses conceal him in their shadow.' Thats neither inferring nor implying that the animal requires all of the shade to be concealed. And I for one would use a 100 foot tree for shade. Just saying.

  • @garrettlmalone7 I also sleep while I have a bible CD playing in the background. I have a few; KJV,NIV,NLT,NCV,James Earl Jones reading the NT KJV and Max McLean reading the bible. We live in a great land and don't know how blessed we are.

  • @KungFuNub Why would you expect a 1611 KVJ to contain the word Dinosaur, that's like if it contained the word television, the term wasn't coined yet.

Job 40: CLEARLY describes what appears to be a brontosaurus.

“Take a look at Behemoth, which I made, just as I made you. It eats grass like an ox. Its tail is as strong as a cedar. Its bones are tubes of bronze. Its limbs are bars of iron. The mountains offer it their best food, It lies under the lotus* plants for shade, It is not disturbed by the raging river.

*Lotus trees are known to grow well over 100 feet. What kind of Animal would use as 100 foot tree for shade???
