  • Love the tune, I like the way you two do it. I even appreciate that Johnny Horton used the correct historical context. The Battle of New Orleans was won by Andrew Jackson's Tennessee Militia on 8 January 1815.  My great great great grandfather, Vincent Cartwright was killed in the fight. Thanks again.
