No Hogger129: that is incorrect. Bush won the popular vote in 2000 as well as the electoral college. He also was in the lead in every recount of the Florida vote. The strange thing was that each time they recounted the same votes, the numbers kept getting closer and closer together. If I were to speculate, I would guess votes were being changed in FAVOR of Al Gore.
Funny how these facts seem to get forgotten so quickly.

Bush only won the election because voters were disenfranchised who voted for Gore, and the Electoral College picked Bush because they were his daddy's golf buddies. What "facts" were forgotten? As far as I know, it was never a "fact" that Bush won popular vote, or led in every recount, or that the numbers kept getting closer and closer together. Doesn't really matter, they were both idiots.

I also find it a coincidence that his brother is the governor of the state in which all this takes place. I find it a coincidence that Fox News (a heavily conservative-leaning news channel) happened to be the one who "called" the election for Bush early. They all rig elections. Look at the 1960 election in Chicago. Or the 1980 October Surprise.
