Love the parking job.

Once again Johnson County Med Act parks illegally and leaves the engine running while the employee checks out Redbox and does some grocery shopping. At least the Fire Dept parks in the parking lot like the rest of us.

I was a police officer, firefighter and an EMT, and never parked in fire lanes nor illegally parked when I was on duty and driving a municipal vehicle. I have probably saved more lives that you have, so can I get some love too? Even when I was on duty, I did not do my shopping while on the clock. The point is, even though you are a contracted EMS worker, does not mean you cannot park like the rest of us. Even the fire department and police department park in designated parking areas.

I like this American Feller! Hopefully, the "grumpy old man" needs a paramedic someday and enjoys an extra long wait while they walk to their vehicle parked back in the "legal" spots.

Well I suppose if it is a competition of who has saved more lives then I will let you win, but I do work in the field. You cannot get my love as I feel you need to find something better to do with what I can only assume is your retired life. This is really a simple issue of someone parking in the front of a lot so that they can get to their vehicle quickly. You are clearly just a grumpy old man that needs to get a hobby. I recomend fishing, its a blast.

Is it so wrong that the person that is working for 24 hours should be allowed to shop? Perhaps you are just angry that the vehicle is running? Well I can tell you that it is running because it has a computer on it that informs the paramedic of calls and how to get to them. Maybe you are angry because of the fact that they are parked in front. Heaven forbid that the paramedic should be able to get out fast if someone were haveing a heart attack.
