Nicks Pov

He was everything I wasnt. He had it all. I loved him. I would do anything for him, including sell my body.

The first time it happened, he didnt ask me. I told him I would. We were deep in debt and he lost a gamble. I could never let them hurt him. I defended him with my life, but when that didnt work, I gave him my life. I was in his control. I allowed him to pawned me for his freedom. I only wish he had left it at that.

That was over a year ago. Now it has more become like every other night of my life, I would be forced to get into a bed with another guy, other than my Joseph.

Tonight was going to be one of those nights, unless I played my cards right.

"Joseph," I shook the boy on the arm. He had passed out on our bed. It was noon already. I had been awake for hours trying to get the apartment clean and get the errands run. Joe tossed a bit before falling back to bed. I sighed deeply. I wished I could just let him sleep for some time longer, but if I let him sleep past twelve, I was likely to get scolded or hit. "Joseph." I called again.

"What time is it?" Joe woke finally.

"Twelve." I told him as I laid a kiss to his cheek. I couldnt help but choke on the whiskey that covered his scent.

"Twelve. Kinda late dont you think?" Joe asked as he sat up.

"I figured you would have needed the sleep after last night." I smiled as I thought back to the night before. It was one of the rare opportunities that I could enjoy Joseph to myself.

Joe hitched his arm to the collar of my shirt. He pulled me down to join him on the bed. "Oh, I remember." He smirked. He stared deep into my eyes; as I did his. I was sitting on his lap as he leaned in and kissed me on my lips. I was savouring every moment of this event. It was forced to come to an end early. Joe pulled off my mouth just in time to vomit on the floor. I got off the bed quickly and rushed to grab paper towels and a glass of water.

"Drink." I urged. Joe took the glass with no complaint.

"I need a shower." He stated after wiping his mouth. He got out of the covers and walked to the bathroom. He wasnt wearing anything to cover the lower half of his body, so I continued to stare before he was out of my field of vision.

I took a moment before I began to clean the spot on the floor. In the meantime, I was trying to form a plan as to how I would get out of 'working' tonight. Thats what Joseph always called it. The business, pleasing my clients. If I didnt accomplish pleasing them, I would get in trouble with Joseph. It sucks, believe me I know, but I love Joseph and this is what he asks of me. I have no choice but to comply.
