The Queen and the Royals are at their most popular for 20 years BUT CHARLES AND CAMILLA ARE SOMEWHAT SIDELINED AND UNPOPULAR.

Absolutely. He is too stinkin' rich (like so many rock singers, although he doesn't - like them - work many hours a day for the benefit of others), and he is ridicolous and oldfashioned as he fights GMO, destruction of our cities and our cultural values, supports un-cool organic farming etc. But his worst crime is that he isn't FLASHY enough. If he had been stunningly handsome and a 'wicked sly dog', with charisma and sexy walk, not caring a BIT for others, THEN he would be popular.

Wow. You've just accurately described the process of American colonisation in the West, but completely failed to actually discuss the monarchy.

BTW: That's more like 'best hunter in the tribe keeps bossing people around. Eventually people start calling him King and the position becomes based on birth rather than merit. People want to be him so start fighting to take his spot while the lower ranks tend to just keep doing the same thing as they always did. Eventually the fighting stops.
