This is a bisque fired, stoneware whistling vessel. It is a two-globed instrument with a tube connecting the two globes at the bottom (when inverted). Water passing from one globe to the other (when tilted) forces air through the tubular connection and plays the whistle mechanism in each direction of the tilt.
Total size is approximately 12" long and 6" tall.
