The birthplace of the Bottleneck / Slide style of Blues guitar is the Mississippi Delta. The Delta is located between the Mississippi and Yazoo Rivers. It begins in the lobby of the Peabody Hotel in Memphis and ends at Catfish Row in Vicksburg. Created by regular flooding this region is remarkably flat and contains some of the most fertile soil in the world.

  • Hey Keni, this is great, very haunting - love it!

Can I ask what guitar you are using? It sounds great.

  • Thank you. I am playing a steel bodied Duolian model from Republic guitars. These guitars provide excellent tone and volume and sell for a very resonable price. Enjoy.

  • God I love your playing. I can always tell when I'm listening to Keni Lee.

  • Thank you for the your positive encouragement. Greatly appreciated. Enjoy.

  • how beautiful.....<3

  • Thank you Jim. Yes, I believe Randy is going to sell his beef bone guitar slides on ebay too. Hey, if you can't find it on ebay, I don't think it exists. LOL. Enjoy.

  • I sure enjoyed that one Keni. Will have to watch it again though and keep my eye balls open this time. The first they closed up and we drifted along with the tune. Very soulful my friend.

    Jimbo

PS: Gonna have to try me one of them beef bones. Very smooth.

  • Thank you. Enjoy.

  • Thank you Jim. I was hired by a client to entertain his guests for 30 minutes in Central Park before they have dinner at Tavern on the Green. He requested this song. Enjoy.
