Yes, I agree one the very most under-rated bands ever!!! And the really sad thing is that the lead singer who is still touring with a band he calls the Grass Roots says the original members really didn't count. I highly disagree with that. Yes there were changes in the original band, but there was a group and that group does not exist anymore.

I think the keyboard really distinguishes this from other Grass Roots songs but if you listen to a lot of GR, keyboards are prevailant in most of them.

I grew up in South Carolina. We currently live near Surf City, NC. I played basketball at our high school. We were lucky to get Cliff Noble's "The Horse" played at our school.
