AWESOME SHOW ON A BAROQUE FACADE USING CUTTING EDGE TECHNOLOGIES FOR THE FIRST TIME IN THE WORLD.
GPD has spectacularly staged a 4D multimedia show for the St. James Day Celebration, marking a "before" and "after" in entertainment-staging history. GPD created a brand-new cutting-edge technology show combining light, sound, music, fireworks and special effects to achieve a mapped, warped 4D effect. The Cathedral's baroque façade was turned into a giant screen recounting St. James' life story in a virtual tour of the Cathedral interior. This is the first ever video-mapping on a façade of its kind anywhere worldwide, a totally unique mapped show screening technique combining 16 projectors totaling 350,000 lumens. The visual impact, the combination of more than 50,000 watts of sound and 4,200 fireworks being set off all made this a unique event attended by more than 100,000 people.
