this people still sending me a bill,even though i talk to a rep. at TXU and now is on my credit and NO ONE knows anything about it,they say i have to pay.. I probably will become a REP for txu and make SIX figures and pay TXU.

this happen about a year ago and 'till this day they send me a bill but with $0.00 balance i don't understand.

it all depends on the type of contract or plan you sign up for..if you are on a month to month there is no fee for cancellation..people are just too stupid to notice or read their welcome kit papers

Are you serious? I know people who are paying $400-$600 and more every month on electricity simply because they refuse to leave Reliant or TXU. These people are struggling needlessly, when all you need to do is shop around. It's like choosing to buy candy from the movie theatre or Wal-mart. It's obvious what people on a budget should do. If you don't want to do the research in this age of information, you WILL pay for your ignorance. For starters you can go to CutMyLightBill (dot) info.

hey, i was looking at the video... however i think those sales people are just doing their job, besides if you have a contract with another company they will charge you a fee if you switch, cuz that is how a contract works... it is nothing to do with another company, that is your issue not theirs... that is why they usually ask you if you have a contract or not...

i will tell u why. its just to let u know that ur balance is $0.00 and u dont have to worry anymore for that $200.00. and btw as i said i used to work with them, but in the customer service dep. and according with our policies, we always adv about the $200.00 and only applyes in the case that u switch companyes or price plans. "because txu energy is making the commitment to mantain the rate". so u need to make the commitment to stay with txu. but if u cancel the service u dont have to pay.
