I've only seen manatees in captivity and they bring tears to my eyes. They are so gentle and innocent. Why are human beings so desructive that animals become endangered. I think we as a species are a virus on this planet made for animals. They were here first and if there were no humans would we have pollution?

@rebelynnya Humans brains are ..designed to problem solve. We are intelligent and that's just how it is. Many other animals have caused other species to go extinct. Many times, animals have had to cope with the niche of another species. How come when its us that they have to cope with, its 'unnatural'? And hey, if it wasnt for us a great deal of animals would be extinct right now. . If humans are a virus, then what about monkeys? or any other animal or organism we may have evolved from?

i know what u mean; and the ocean is their only habitat. we should design a propeller boat that works like the tail of a manatee .. or a whale.... dat way we might not injur so many of them.
