how come i can hear a low buzz in my headphones when using this with Studio One Pro with a macbook pro? It doesnt seem to get recorded but still its offputting when recording / preparing to record, when you'd expect silence. My Boss BR1600 doesn't generate a buzz even with a mic input turned up high

if you dont have a firewire input on your interface, can you still connect it with another??

Just wondering if the universal control program would work with a Firepod for zero latency real time monitoring??

Is it a 1/3U compatible with the 3UMR?

Go to groove3 (dot) com for DVD tutorials.

will this work with intel celeron m processor

@gridsleep disregard my earlier comment - Just be sure to buy a dedicated firewire card, preferable with the Texas Instruments chipset - onboard firewire most likely will not work properly.

@xxObscuraxx What exactly does it not do for you? It's ok to warn people about it, but you have to let us know why, otherwise you're talkin' out the side of your neck.

Is this better than FireBox ?
got my firestudio mobile yesterday and i must i like it. it's a nice improvement over the firebox. preamps are must stronger and quiet. even with the gain cranked all the way up there is very little noise. i have plenty of gain for my condenser mic. great job presonus!
