Awesome game by the Bitmap Brothers

This is the A500 version of the game that differs slightly from the AGA ones. I prefer the graphics of this version over the AGA one, as it has a much better contrast.

I wanted to show all the countless secret areas that RickyC didnt show in his video, and of course show the "real" ending that was cut from the AGA versions. I played with my favorite character that was cut from Chaos Engine 2 - the Preacher. Thug was also cut, thats why i selected him for the computer. If you wonder why i dont use the shield powerup when fighting the Chaos Engine, its because it doesnt work there

I wish i could get hold of the darn soundtrack!! all i have so far is the inrto sequence, but the ingame music is totally amazing!

I downloaded the music but it sadly only contains the main intro theme, noting else =(

Wow, the AGA version's graphics are a lot worse than this. Isn't AGA supposed to be better? And why did they cut the ending? "You will be remembered," is an awesome line. In the AGA version it seems the lip sync was off a lot, too.

snes version is the worst because of LAGS. Sega Mega Drive is the best because it's smooth and has the best music (not cheap midi like amiga). and amiga version is second (only graphics is good).

@cubex55 can you download the MODLAND collection like the hvsc collection? on the hvsc theres a download link for the collection, the modland collection is on a ftp server, can you dl the whole content ?

@CFkimahri i play this on the 1200 which is no different for this game. The amiga music is so much better than the consoles i agree. The SNES version is horrible. The only version of this game that should exist is the Amiga version. A truly amazing classic game that never dies

i played that game at the age of 4 :D one of the best game, that i played in my life till yet....im searching on ebay for an amiga500+, but im not finding nothing =( ...my old amiga was sold, when i started to play with the LAST of epic "Game-Machine" ----> The famous "PLAYSTATION" or "PSX" ^^

I started a fan page for Dan Malone (the artist on this game) on facebook, and via various links and posts I managed to contact Dan himself to talk to him about it, he was very touched his work was still loved, I mean, his work is classic! He even started to upload concept sketches from The Chaos Engine and also the original arena design for Speedball 2.
