  • I have found that is what most "Boss's" want = the good honest regular drivers to quit so that they can get the polish or Ukraine guy in for half the £££ and/or agency drivers who they can treat like slaves for a peanut or two. The driving game is gone as a "steady" job in the UK I think but if you want a job as a clown, put on your red nose because the transport business in run like a circus no matter where you go these days. My last T manager once said "what do I want your Taco's for?" Serious

  • @VictorYourMind

I don't think Marek wants the job to be honest. I think there's a polish spectre hanging over us, a now mythical cheaper worker. In 2008, there was Poles everywhere in the transport industry. Everything from HGV drivers to valeters. I don't see many these days.

I miss the ones I knew too, smart fellas who knew when to get out of here.

  • theres not actually a speed limit on any road because its a offense under the road traffic ACT...remember ACTS are only given the force of law by consent....next time you get pulled for speedin tell them your a freeman and your not speeding and your car can do 70mph quite easy in there so called 30 zone...see you in the police(corporation) station

  • @CHRIS060278

Never try that defence for a traffic violation. When you applied for your licence, you submitted to the terms of a contract. Your licence is a strawman that you cannot disown if you need a driving licence to work or be insured.

Never try the freeman arguement with the traffic cops. They've got juristiction over your licence.

  • I might be "moving it moving it" back to the fuckin job centre haha!

  • i like turtles

  • I like to use the following phrase:

'What do you want for free? your money back?'

    - hope it helps!!

  • @CHRIS060278

i didnt applie for a licence, insurance or road tax...my cars private property(no levy) ( i do personaly think you should have insurance if your travelling tho). Your right about them having juristiction over your licence if you apllied(asked permission) for 1.....keep up the good work mate

  • @MassesVclasses You maybe right there dude, I quit the circus I was a clown in, in about 2007/8 so any brains would have realized that this country is out to screw everyone in it so I assume that your right and they have gone back to nothing which is probably more than they ever had here anyway. Maybe they realized that the spectre of a "good life" here is also as mythical as UK transport management making sense these days. Like you say chief, profit and screw the people, follow the money always

  • @MikeFromTheUK1

As someone who drives other people's vehicles, de-registration is not an option. On Trade Plates, you are your driving licence when you are working. That number is YOU. There is no way of dipping out of that contract.

It's better to know how screwed you are and negotiate after paying tribute to the highwaymen.
