The Kinks - Milk Cow Blues

Els Kinks interpreten aquest tema el 30 de desembre del 1965 al programa de televisió Shindig!

"Milk Cow Blues" va ésser gravada per primer cop per Kokomo Arnold a mitjans de la dècada dels 1930's, i posteriorment adaptada per Robert Johnson com a "Milk Cow Calfs Blues". Posteriorment va ésser gravada per Elvis Presley el 1955, versió en les dues darreres estrofes de la qual (inexistents a l'original) es basa la dels Kinks.

Com a curiositat: la banda americana de garatge Chocolate Watchband va calcar la versió dels Kinks, i a més va enregistrar un tema anomenat "I Don't Need Your Lovin' Anymore" que és bàsicament la primera estrofa de "Milk Cow Blues" amb una tornada afegida.

Una altra curiositat és que el grup de rhythm&blues protopsicodèlic català Els Xocs en va fer una altra versió calcada de la dels Kinks anomenada "Més Enllà" amb lletra completament diferent.
