A documentary short that adresses the grief felt by members of the Mille Lacs Lake Band of Ojibwe as they grapple with a series of teen deaths.
Produced by the students of Nay Ah Shing School in partnership with the Bureau of Indian Education, the Vander Weele Group, In Progress, The Center for International Education, the MN State Arts Board AIE Program, and the Indigenous People's Task Force.
I was in shakopee sitting out my time when these happened. It was hard to be so far from home when their was a lot of families in need of support.

These are issues felt by many ppl and I just wanted to say thank you for reaching out...Our minds are our greatest asset and for change to occur we have to make a conscious decision to be the person our ancestors fought and died for...we have to dig deep to find that courage and hold on. Thanks again!! Ahe'ee...
