I won't list my credentials, rank or component, because it is irrelevant. However, I will express my disappoinment with the various statements lacking professionalism. If you are a member of the US Armed Forces, you are a professional, and we are all on the same team. Lead by example and act accordingly.

@TreJay You're an idiot. The NG goes to the exact same Basic training as the active Army. Side by side integrated into BT units. 40% of the deployed forces in OIF and OEF are NG. More than any other two services combined. When a soldier is wounded in combat a NG MED EVAC pilot is more that likely who will come to save them. So let me guess what you are. a POG, a little boy video game player or maybe you're an 11B with an IQ of 65 , all three are equal in my mind. BTW I'm active 31B with a CAB

@SourCream232 It's not hate, it's just how it is. Jr. ROTC is great for what it is, I wanted to be in it when I was a child but since I was in a private school they wouldn't let me go to the public high school just for that.
Also, I don't put myself up as "better" than anyone. My comment was to point out to a child that he shouldn't be putting down serving soldiers when he has no idea what it means to be a serving soldier. He needs to show a little respect. It is deserved after all.

@KevinR38 I agree with you about hating on soldiers, but hating on JROTC ,doesn't make you any better.
-
Haha, I enlisted 11X and I had a GT score of 115 (and nothing lower than a 110)

@chestateegold JROTC in High School and you're going to criticize serving soldiers, be they active duty, NG or Reserve? It's great that you're taking JROTC and will be great if you join, but you shouldn't be criticizing when you've never served a day in the real Army. JROTC is make believe. Real soldiers don't do D&C every day, real soldiers have actual jobs and responsibilities. Show a little more respect for serving Soldiers. One day that might be you that someone else is disrespecting.

@Daniel7408 if we are professionals why aren't they conducting drill like pros, I know drill is the core of discipline and judging by there drill they have none. Look at there arm swings no cover and alignment, just ditty bopping
Damn son, the army's drill is busted.

@FutureMarine011 Remember, this is Chaplain school and not Basic Training. I did both regular Basic and Chaplain school. In Basic we spent weeks learning drill and ceremony. In Chaplain school they only spend a day or two on it. A lot of the guys in Chaplain school are not prior service so this is all new to them. Plus, the amount of DnC a Chaplain actually needs to know is extremely minimal. Thus, Chaplains spend a lot more time on practical exercises than on the drill field.
