I don't acknowledge Emilio Aginaldo and Mariano Trias.as a 1st President and Vice of the Philippines. Pwede silang presidente sa cavite lang. MGa GAHAMAN LANG.

@boybarurot1 The song supports the gist of the tragedy of the Supremo. "Symptomatic of the younger generation"? At least I am trying to reach out to the younger generation unlike the cold intellectualism of the academe. History belongs to the people and I will do everything in my power to reach the youth. If you want silence, you can always make your own slideshow with some piano or orchestra in the background. But not for me.
Hahay . . . they've already removed the audio. Greedy corporations. It was supposed to be educational.

@andresbonifacioratm Too bad for our heroes of Tres de Abril, Cebuano history is too remote from the usual Philippine history class in most of our schools. I do feel the same way as you are, being a Bisdak (sorry for using English as the medium). Too bad there are just so few history books about Cebuano history. Cebuano Study Centre USC, help?

@jailwarden6000 You got some point there. You know what? Most of the people who knew cebuano heroes didn't learned it from schools. Most of us knew them and learned about them simply because of our being a cebuano, right? Cebu is not part of the 8 rays of the sun in the Philippine flag, yet Cebu has the people which is one of the most patriotic revolutionaries in our country. You know who is to blame for this? It's the government. They are so much recognizing "imperial Manila". :)

@andresbonifacioratm Hehe, calling on Dep Ed to change the Basic Education Curriculum especially on history subjects. That's right Local history is much more relevant than national history though discrediting the latter would be akin to stupidity. At least, the educational "sages" of the government must incorporate Local history to the said subjects in school.

@jailwarden6000 At least cebuano revolutionaries didn't recognize Aguinaldo's leadership in the katipunan.
