This is a quick test of me flying using some new background footage and old green screen footage. It is a test for my upcoming flight video that will be alot better and longer (And there will be no superman suit.) The original footage that I used in this video was low quality so the new video will have higher quality and better compositing.

  • it was ok.... You were out of proportion with the sky a little and a big one is that you cape was waving in the air!! When you shot the on a chromaky BG you should have gotten a fan... Besides that it was still pretty good.

  • Yeah I had a fan it was just not strong enough. As for the out of proportion part, I don't think it is possible when you are talking about the sky... smaller is far away, bigger means closer. Simple

  • Weeeeelllll, not anymore. My new footage will be just me in regular clothes flying.

  • Woahao! Very impressive just one thing

    Needs clouds overlaying

  • Yeah I plan on doing that for my FULL flying effect video which is in the making after I finish my new 3D title logo. This clip took me about 30 mins.

  • what did you use to do the background?

  • lol love the effect

  • haha

  • I could see some of the green screen xD

  • where did you get the background (cloud effect) i have a green screen.

  • pretty good job. keep it up & you could work for the studios.

  • where did you get the background for this?

  • how do you get the background footage

  • Not bad, but personally, I'd try to create a sense of depth by moving the camera around the actor a little to create the illusion of midair banking and turning. The actor doesn't have to do much. This is how ILM created the illusion of ships flying in the original Star Wars films, moving the camera around the subject.

  • How did you do that? I mean, what software did you use?
