@pbo1228 Simple answer, yes. The phone must stay in the cradle to be boosted. I'm sure Wilson is working on an amplifier that does not require the phone to be in a cradle or have a direct connection, as they have amplifiers that do this now for the 800/850/1900MHz networks.

Can't wait to try it ! I live in a week signal area and no access to highspeed internet , I use my phones 4g hotspot as a option over limited high priced satalight .

Does the phone have to sit in the cradle to get signal boost. Just asking since not everyone uses BT headsets and since you boost 4G Data you would need to physically hold the phone to navigate around to access data sources?
