Michael Moorer is a really outstanding heavyweight boxer! No one heavyweighter but Rocky Marciano could win all of his fights. Look at Moorer's boxing record: 57 fights, 52 wins, 40 wins by KO. He was the first boxer to beat Botha and Holyfield, he beat the last one and Bert Cooper despite knockdowns, he is former Cruiserweight Champion and double IBF Heavyweight Champion. So I think he is a very underrated boxer

I like Moorer but I can not see him sparring as a model for Michael Nunn.

i don't think there was a LHW who could bit moorer, no roy jones, no toney , etc... this guy was a beast

@comedicstuff Ike has decent power & chin, and hit fast. I agree that he probably could beat Klitschkos. Anyway, Vitali hurt his arm in Byrd fight and he was ahead Byrd in point at the stoppage. Bowe actully never being really tested before Golota fights, Holyfield is much smaller than Bowe and couldn't really trouble him, Holy'style just suit sfor Bowe's, also Holy fell in infights and lost. Once Klitschkos play 'combo and right straights game', Bowe would be in seriously trouble.

@comedicstuff Much better!

@comedicstuff Actually Evander's not powerful enough, Bowe was overrated, he has power but his combo and right hand cannot compare Klitschkos. Tommy's powerful and explosive enough, once Wald was caught by his left hand, the result would be similar to Sanders fight. I don't say Tommy could 100% defeat Wald, but he has such ability. Andrew never realy use all his potential well, he could match the Klitschkos in power and speed, but his mental problem would destroy himself.

@comedicstuff I agree, David is a better puncher than Tommy. Alex Stewart?! I cannot agree he could compare Tommy.
-
Was Tommy Morrison even better than Gerry Cooney? (snicker snicker)
-
@kuluku - David Tua was better than Tommy Morrison. So was Alex Stewart, although I wouldn't put Stewart on any list of "top six heavyweights."
-
@kuluku - That's probably an urban legend.
