In this episode of "A Writer's Guide to Microsoft Office," Joannie Stangeland shows us how she uses Word 2007 to prepare writing manuscripts for submission to publishers. (Part 2 of 2.)
I'm writing a long manuscript. On using even and odd pages with the book title on odd the chapter title on even the page number does not show on odd. I want it on both. Also the heading fonts, this is a book not a science paper. Where do I find normal on 2007?
Nice video but it does make a few assumptions about a user's familiarity with Word. For example, why did she put in section breaks (needs to be explained).
i love these videos, thanks so much, ive been going NUTS with office 2007 trying to figure out how to set it up.. id like a video on how to do a first time document setting the font and headings and stuff before starting it?
Love these, Joannie and Michael! BUT, why do you cut the soundtrack music off before it resolves? Maybe a music-theory nit, but I feel like I'm left hanging in the air, waiting for the 5-1 cadence.
