SRV - Couldn't Stand the Weather (guitar cover)

Stevie Ray Vaughn is one of my all-time favorite guitar players. He was more than just a bluesman - he played with a fire and passion that reminded me of one of his heroes, Jimi Hendrix. Like Hendrix, when you watched Stevie play, his body became one with the guitar - he felt every note. There will never be another like him either. RIP Stevie.

I should point out that this video is not meant to be a note-for-note replication, nor is my guitar tone intended to be a match to Stevie's. I have never seen anyone play it exactly like Stevie, and without a Strat I can't dial in that SRV tone, so I just decided to do dial in my own tones. Rock on brothers and sisters :)

@jonnyhturbo ...hey thanks fellow Custom24'er! As for the solo, I got lazy and just did my own thing LOL. I'm not a note-for-note fanatic anyway.. I try to infuse a little of myself in everything I do, for better or worse :)

can you split the coils on your guitar

@MrHollydaye yes, the clean sound throughout feature the split coils. The distorted sounds are using the humbucker mode.
