It's an app that allows you to display web pages on TV, not just videos.
Works with the Apple VGA Adapter on a bunch of devices.

@MsTheking1994 It's likely to be some kind of incompatibility between your dock and your iPhone and iPT, as you say it was originally intended to be for an iPod.
Or it could just be faulty.
Try and see if it will work with an old iPod again to determine if it's a faulty AUD or a compatibility problem with newer Apple tech.

The reason it works is because he is running firmware below 3.0, anything 3.0 or above does not support third party tv out, you only get sound. This is to encourage you to buy an extremely expensive tv out cable from apple for about £40 ($60 in us i think)

i have the same Apple Universal Dock that's you had
but i bought it for my ipod
it was in 2006
now i have iphone and ipod touch
but they didn't work on it
how can i do it
or
should i buy the new one?????

hi there!,
since i'm no technician at all, i have no idea, why it doesnt work with your setup - i onl know it worked with mine (maybe, apple stopped that via the ipod touch's firmware update since i tried it?) but i guess, if you buy the new dock, you have to spend additional money on those expansive cable/adapter-stuff. maybe there is a dock from another manufacturer which does the job and is cheaper? dont know, but good luck anyway

the new dock? probably at an apple-store! it's more difficult (and interesting) to find an old one
