The song is called 'Said I Loved You But I Lied' but it is just the opposite of what it meant. And Michael Bolton didn't lie, he delivered. Hits after hits of love songs. To Love Somebody, When A Man Loves A Woman, How Am I Supposed To Live Without You etc. When he sang New York New York, it was with that special flare which Michael Bolton fans knew that only he could and yet didn't lose that Frank Sinatra magic that was present in the original version. There was even an Italian aria Nessun Dorma by Giacomo Puccini that Bolton sang with Luciano Pavarotti at one time. What an incredible voice on this guy!

As far as soul-music goes, there's really no need to listen to anybody else do a song Bolton has done, because it will suck in comparison.

I'm more of a hardrock/metal-guy myself, but I can still enjoy music by guys this talented, no matter what style or genre, because of the sheer soul, power, talent and heart that goes in to it.

If that doesn't touch you, you're not human!
