  • Does anyone know the name of the song at 1:29

  • @castlemusicfan "Secret Separation" by the Fixx

  • Now that I think about it, it might be called "The United States of Radio." The last couple of segments I haven't uploaded start with Indiana and Ohio (including WGTZ, Eaton, Dayton and Springfield alive).

  • I think Phelps is correct. What was it called, Radio Across the USA, or something similar? I still have some of that yet to post.

  • dude! i forgot that some Mobile stations can reach the watts out to biloxi/gulfport! ZKX was the bomb back then, now it's a country station in Bay Saint Louis. hopefully in the near future they may change it to a classic hits station and go back to its "power" days. the first things i ever heard of gulfport on radio were "casino magic," "treasure bay/isle," or something like that, "imperial palace," "boomtown", and "grand casino"

  • I k-loved hearing what oldies 98.7 KLUV was back in the 80's. first heard that station in about 2004 or 2005.

  • I remember hearing Power 108 WZKX, WABB, and WQID when I was in Biloxi for the US Air Force. It definitely brings back some memories.

  • Oh, I remember where I listened to these IDs online--it was the Detroit Radio Flashbacks website under the section "Far Out There...". Just google the above and once you are there, click on Much More, and you will see "Far Out There...". That radio ID compliation is there somewhere...

Just something to keep in mind. :-)

  • Whenever you have time, don't hesitate to post those segments here! :-)

  • I think Radio Across the USA sounds right. I believe that collection included IDs from Z-93 in Dayton and Q102 in Cincinnati.

It is great to hear those classic jingles and IDs all over again!
