@BrandonSchleifer Don't worry, I know Canada isn't perfect. I was born in Alberta and happen to live in Quebec at the moment, so I've gotten a taste of conservatism and secessionism already. Seeing as how I'm soon going to be living in either Seattle or Vancouver, I'll get the liberal side too. But thanks for the info. There's nothing like someone who knows Canada!

@DirectInjected To be fair, the oil's in Alberta, and Alberta is known as being the conservative part of Canada. Also, the Athabasca oil sands are an environmental disaster to recover. Still, Texas makes Alberta look like BC. (BC is the birthplace of Greenpeace, is considered the "hippie" province, and is the cannabis capital of Canada). Ironically, BC and Alberta, Canada's extreme left and right wing provinces, are adjacent to each other, and BC is west (left) of Alberta.

If you don't respect science, you are better off dying of swine flu, it is called natural selection. I do of course believe people should

This guy does not understand that the federal government is supposed to benefit the states and the people. He's not the only fool in this country that doesn't understand squat about the principles of freedom and sovereignty.

Oil is not enough. Texas is not the future of American oil. Alaska is, and it will be cheaper to get it from one of the 49 states than to deal with Texas.
