As a Gators fan I still feel soooo sorry for this kid. He had tremedous speed and athletic ability. He absoulutely lit us up and Alabama as a team was really starting to hit there stride, I remeber they still won a number of games after his injury, but they were not the same team that whole year. I'm sure they would've won it all that year. Prothro was right at the break-out point in what could've and should've been a stellar football career. ESPN should do a piece on his story!!!!!!
