I just don't get the Wallys. They are on the cutting edge of build technology using carbon & all but I like a more traditional look. Not old but something like a Swan or Shipman is what I think a sailing yacht should look like. lol Not that I will be able to afford any of them anytime soon. Just a dreamer for now.

@BrownDogPromos big balls? thats how yachts are meant to be sailed :) when you sail you must either heavily under power the boat or sail in light conditions!

The cockpit is a bit high up and exposed indeed, it fits the design concept of most Wally's though: Cruisers with racing legs, intended for the Med, not cross-ocean beating in big winds/waves. This one in particular was commissioned with a unique design concept from an leisure point of view: the "terrace by the sea" layout which means there cannot be a cockpit aft.
