@fungerz It's not amazing at all. Kim Wilde, Alphaville, China Crisis, Kirsty MacColl, Sandra, Voice Of The Beehive, Aimee Mann, All About Eve, Animotion and several others 80s smarts have all had to put up with that being hugely underappreciated crap and it still goes on today. Sprout can't moan-they still got Top 40 entries for most albums for over a decade, despite their singles flopping and they've always been critically acclaimed. Some of their tunes do remain cringeworthy.

Beautiful and how to make a perfect love song without being mawkish or pretentious;another fine example of this fabulous band which is Prefab Sprout and also the lovely way Wendy Smith and Paddy Mcaloon's voices paste.Amen.

How Prefab Sprout's music can not reach beyond a relatively small bunch of fans is quite amazing. Beautiful songs, lovely voice, and recognition for Paddy's songs is just around the corner. But would he like it? Of course he would. Ha! Ha! Ha!
