  • Can't believe how underrated this song is. It's the song what started my collection of Squarepusher's music. I originally wanted to bie either this album or his "other debut" Feed Me Weird Things & I opted for this one seeing as it contained more jazz fusion songs. The way he kicks the album off with that dum-dum sound at the start is fantastic. Looking at your other videos you must have an incredible vinyl collection. Well done for posting this.

  • No Dubstepper could ever make stuff this good...

  • @thisonewasinuse pastorius was definitely a major influence on jenkinson, but he died a decade before this record was released.

  • @TijucaWeirdo the last cd was a bit of a disapointment to me ... had like five or six squarepusher cds before the porc ate them ... they didnt bother to give em back either .. the man's a genius ...

  • @thisonewasinuse well ... jaco pastorius or not, just feel the rythm

  • Sounds like the soundtrack to a modern blaxploitation movie.

  • @Psem5 Male Pill pt. 13 really is awesome.

  • Squarepusher is my favourite musician of all time and I like this music but I dont think it is all that original. It sounds too me like fairly standard Jazz/ Funk with an obvious electronic edge which I think makes it sound a bit cheap. Obviously artificial Jazz and obviously weak drum and bass. Male pill part 13 is an amazing track however and for truly freeform sounding music Ultravisitor and MIRON are the albums to look to. Still this album as a whole is nice and refreshing.

  • Vastly underrated

  • @paranoidandroid192

This song like so many of his are not underrated imo, they seem just... too original.

Original, in a perhaps 'lonely' sense.

Because with so much originality, there is no other musician or music genre to communicate with, or to share a scene and make music together with.

That's what I thought a lot about all of his music.

It has made a lasting impression on me, and will stay with me.

  • lol my name's cooper xD
