im an atheist and i live my life by morals and values that work for me im willing to always consiter credible evidence and incorperate it in to my real life im here to tell you that you have the right to believe what you want to believe and i have not have any kind of problem with it..............one last thing though please always remember the burdon of prove is on you for the claim that you make were not making the claim so we have nothing to prove........i wish you well

@Xlivesforever It's not for me to convert people. All I can do is tell my story. It's God's job to convince people. I believe that, if you're willing to hear, He will prove Himself to you when the time is right. I accept no burden of proof on myself. The case for God has been settled with me - He has proven Himself to me. And no person did it. So I place the burden on HIM to show you.

@fotm1 and im sorry to say this to you sir but ive been forced to go to church and ive gone to church willingly looking for god and the only thing ive seen so far is man making the claim for god with no evidence whatsoever and he had his chance to prove to me he existed and didnt....im sorry but if you are gonna make the claim of god the burden of prove is on you and its most sertianly not on me i didnt make any claim one way or another all i have is the evidence in front of me

@Xlivesforever The point of my letter is not to convert you, but to apologize that you were force to go to a building that isn't even "the church", that you didn't find Truth there and I played a part in that and I'm sorry. But that doesn't mean God isn't real. And it's not my job to convert you, it's HIS job. All I can do is pray that He will. All you can do is be willing for Him to prove Himself to you.

@fotm1i have one of the most open minds i know of and im willing to hear any prove of anything that anyone (including god) has to present to me....your god isnt doing a very good job of proving himself on any front that i can see you would think an all knowing all powerful all seeing god would be able to easily prove his being there and you "praying" that he finds me is not the best use of your time my favorite quoit "2 hands working can do more then thousands of hands placed together in prayer"

@Xlivesforever I guess that's just folks that stopped working to pray. I don't have that luxury. We house 70+ people and feed over 5,000 a month and answer hundreds of emails and comments a month. I had to learn to pray without ceasing WHILE working!

@fotm1 im no were near saying that there arnt church based systems witch do good things and judging from your letter id say your one of them......but the shoe is still on the other foot as it were your still throwing your name into the same hat were some people would have atheists (such as myself) have NO rights whatsoever im willing to go head to head in a friendly debate about these issues if your interested send me a PM here and ill give you my IM and we can talk there

Thank you Doug for being obedient to God. We all, as followers of Jesus Christ need to apologize for our wrongful ways. God says to be holy and we have done just the opposite. Thank you again for this clip. It is long over due that we apologize for not representing the Kingdom of God correctly, repent and then do it correctly. God bless and continue to keep you brother.
