What is 'the law' and what is 'safe' are 2 separate issues. NCAP testing is not 'the law' but car manufacturers do these tests to make sure they are 'safe'... as we do. another practical solution would be to use a 5point harness as long as possible!!!!!!! They are available up to 80lbs and are by far the safest option!!!

Because there are NO laws that make this product regulated and as a car seat tech I would tell people to NEVER use a product like this one. If someone comes in with a product like the one in this video we tell them they need to remove it for the safety of their child. I would never help someone install one.
